Learning to Glow

As we grow, we begin to glow. Glowing is part of life -- at least any life that's worth living.

As we grow, we begin to glow.

If you haven't learned to glow yet, it's okay.

It takes time.

It takes breathing sunshine and exhaling fresh, pure air.

Let your spirit grow, and you will begin to glow.

Breathe what gives you life.

Beloved (Affirmations)

Although... it's only 4,956 hours until next Valentine's Day. And I didn't get a Valentine Card this year. Just sayin'. :op

Say this with me:

I am loved.

I am treasured.

I am adored.

I am beloved.

Because you are loved. You are treasured. You are adored.

And even when you feel terribly alone, there is someone tremendously wonderful who calls you "beloved".

His name is Jesus, and he adores you.

And he wants to give you wonderful things:

If you give him your pain, he'll give you joy instead.

If you give him your bitterness, he'll give you sweetness instead.

If you give him your miserable life, he'll fill you with new life, full and bright with possibility.

And a hope and love that make your eyes sparkle.

This is the Jesus I know.

He loves me.

And I know that he loves you, too.

True Love Never Dies?

You know, it's not true what they say — that true love never dies.

Because many, many years ago, True Love died to rescue his Beloved from an eternity without him.

But he was perfect, and his love was pure, so death couldn't keep him.

He destroyed death and took back his life, and gave it to his Bride.

And he began building a home where they could live together, forever... happily every after.

His love was pure, so death couldn't keep him. Ephesians 5:25-30

So perhaps true love can die, but only if it chooses to.

It can, however, be resurrected into something more beautiful.
